Which file is best?
- QFX or OFX (often called Quicken, Web Connect or Microsoft Money): the best, because the file says which account it's for and what the balance is.
- CSV (spreadsheet or Excel): works everywhere. Money asks once which column is which.
- QIF: an older format, fine if it's all the bank offers.
- The statement PDF: for banks with no download, or for history older than the download goes back.
